How to get into your family's archive, and who to write to when something is wrong.
Getting in
- Someone in your family sends you an invitation — an email, or a link in a text.
- Open app.everla.ai in any browser, or the Everla app on an iPhone, and sign in. Continue with Google, or an email address and a password. If you were invited by email, sign in with that address.
- If you came in through a link, you will see the family's name and a short wait: the person who looks after the archive lets you in with one tap, and the archive opens on its own.
Common questions
- "It says the link doesn't work any more." Links last seven days. Ask whoever sent it for a new one.
- "I signed in and it asks me to start an archive." You signed in with a different address from the one that was invited. Sign out and sign in with the invited address — or ask the person who invited you to send a link instead, which works with any address.
- "I forgot my password." On the sign-in screen, choose Forgot your password? and Everla will email you a code.
- "Do I need the app?" No. Everything is in the browser at app.everla.ai, on a phone, a tablet or a computer. The iPhone app is the same archive with the phone's camera roll a tap away.
- "Can I be in two family archives?" One archive per account for now. To join a second, sign in with a different email address.
Something is wrong
Write to hello@everla.ai. Say which family's archive it is and what you were doing; a screenshot helps. We read every message.
Removing your account or your archive
Ask the person who looks after your family's archive, or write to us at the address above. What we keep and how to have it removed is on the privacy page.
